With politics taking the lead in Twitter debacles, it's a breath of fresh air to hear CNN's Anderson Cooper report on something so ludicrous even he can't help but chuckle. Reenacting the latest Twitter troll beef, Cooper fails to hold back smiles when talking about the ridiculous banter between an individual by the name of Thuggy D and Wendy's.
Counter arguing a Wendy's tweet, Thuggy D decided to take on the powers of the fast-food chain and challenge their long time slogan "Always fresh. Never Frozen."
And for what reason?
Because apparently Thuggy D prefers Big Macs over Old Fashioned burgers.
You should know that beef has been transported in refrigerated trucks as early as the 1920s.
You should probably also know that back in 2008 Burger King tried to contest the same slogan. Reporting to the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus - yeah, we know that's way too long - Burger King claimed this was basically false advertising. And guess what happened? Burger King lost.
Reining supreme king of fresh food drive-thru, Thuggy D never stood a chance.
If there is anything you should take away from this, it's that trollers never prosper. Or at the very least, Anderson Cooper has some funny humor with his frosty puns.
