Christmas Tree Cupcakes
These Christmas Tree Cupcakes are so festive. We made homemade vanilla cupcakes and decorated them with sweet green frosting.
Ingredients
- 12 vanilla cupcakes (recipe below)
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vaniila extract
- 2 Tbsp milk
- Green food coloring
- assorted small candies
Instructions
- In a large bowl mix the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the vanilla and milk and whip until smooth and creamy. Add in green food coloring.
- Place a star tip in a pastry bag and fill with frosting. Pipe a large spiral on the cupcakes to look like a tree. Decorate with candies.
Notes
Use candy like nerds or sprinkles to decorate.
If the frosting seems a bit runny, add a bit more of powdered sugar.
