Chick-fil-A Sets Sauce Limit Due to Shortage

Don't panic, but you might be faced with the difficult decision of choosing only one Chick-fil-a sauce to top your nuggets. According to an email from fast food giant Chick-fil-A, "Due to industry-wide supply chain disruptions, some Chick-fil-A restaurants are experiencing a shortage of select items, like sauces. We are actively working to make adjustments to solve this issue quickly and apologize to our Guests for any inconvenience."

Chick-fil-A Limit Sauces in the Drive-Thru Due to Supply Chain Issues

Due to industrywide supply chain shortages, some items like dipping sauces may not be available at all. To prevent even more of a sauce shortage, Chick-fil-a sauces will be limited to one sauce per entree (such as a chicken sandwich), two sauces per meal, and three sauces per 30-count nuggets, according to the email. The number of sauces team members can hand out should lessen the impact of the shortage. Unlike the gas shortage which was caused partly by panic-buying, Chick-fil-a's limiting of sauces in the drive-thru should alleviate any Polynesian sauce worries.

Thankfully there are other ways to enjoy your spicy chicken sandwich or chicken nuggets with extra sauce. 8 oz. bottles of Chick-fil-a sauce, honey mustard, Barbeque, Garden Herb Ranch, and Polynesian are currently available to purchase on Amazon and in various stores such as Walmart and Publix in the South as well as Chick-fil-A locations. You can also recreate some of the Chick-fil-a condiments at home.

Along with Chick-fil-a sauce, ketchup, chicken wings, and bubble tea have been impacted by shortages.

Look at it as an opportunity to try something new. Unaware of the shortage last weekend, I ordered chicken tenders with ranch and buffalo sauce. Both were out (sad!) so I tried the Polynesian sauce instead. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it paired with the chicken tenders.
