Flamin' Hot Cheetos Mac 'n Cheese Is Everything You've Ever Asked For

Your childhood dream has officially come true. According to a press release by Cheetos, the crispy bold & cheesy snack is getting a mashup with mac & cheese. Cheetos fans are you ready? The new Cheetos Mac 'n Cheese comes in three delicious flavors including Bold & Cheesy, Flamin' Hot, and Cheesy Jalapeño. Made with Cheeto's top secret seasoning and Chester's cheetah tail inspired corkscrew pasta noodles, the Cheeto mac and cheese is the newest innovation from PepsiCo Foods North America — Frito-Lay North America and Quaker Foods North America.

Cheetos Mac 'n Cheese is Here!

"We've seen incredible culinary creativity from our Cheetos fans through the years, taking our product and using as an actual ingredient in recipes — whether at restaurants, or now more than ever, at home," said Rachel Ferdinando, SVP, CMO Frito-Lay North America in the press release. "Cheetos Mac 'n Cheese borrows that culinary inspiration to provide a mischievous mashup of an ordinary fan favorite. We're putting our orange-dusted fingerprints on an at-home staple at a time when home mealtime occasions are on the rise."

Beginning August 8, macaroni fans can pick up Cheetos Mac 'n Cheese in both single box and cup format at Walmart stores nationally or online for a suggested retail price of 98 cents. During the Coronavirus pandemic, we suggest ordering it online and using delivery or curbside pick up.

"This one-of-a-kind innovation leverages the strength of our brands to hack into a household staple and take it to the next level with unique flavor experiences only Cheetos can provide," said Kristin Kroepfl, VP, CMO Quaker Foods North America. "We look forward to bringing our passionate consumers the same Cheetos taste in a brand new way."

Preparing the Cheetos mac and cheese is simple. Either place the cup in the microwave or prepare it on the stove using the instructions on the back of the box. I'm most excited to try the flamin' hot flavor and see how it holds up. Who knows, maybe this mac and cheese will be my new go-to comfort food!
