Celery Baked Stuffing

We can absolutely stuff our faces with this Celery Baked Stuffing. The taste of sweet celery really makes this stuffing stand out.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 loaf loaf of white bread, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 loaf french bread
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp poultry seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350ºF and spray a 13x9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Add the butter to a large dutch oven over medium heat. Add the onion and celery and cook until tender, about 10 minutes. Add the poultry seasoning and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Gradually add in the bread cubes and mix. add in the chicken stock and stir to combine. Add to the prepared baking dish and bake until browned, about 40 minutes. Serve hot.

Notes

Day-old bread works best for this recipe.
Use bakery bread rather than pre-sliced bread for this recipe.
