Ever wonder what Betty White, John McCain, Wayne Gretzky, and George H.W. Bush have in common? Bet you wouldn't have guessed that it was a love of hot dogs. Celebrities, just like the rest of us, have favorite foods and the folks at Chicago's Home Run Inn decided to take a look at the interesting food connections between some famous actors, athletes, politicians, and musicians.
Using the concept of Six Degrees of Separation, which says that any two people can be connected within six steps, they've given us a fascinating look at how a variety of celebrities are connected through their go-to foods.

Some of the fun connections are also not what you would expect. Oprah, George W. Bush, and Selena Gomez all have a thing for comfort food in the form of chicken pot pie. Tony Romo, Karl Lagerfield, Leo DiCaprio, and Elon Musk all love Diet Coke.
And Betty White, Cameron Diaz, and Emma Stone share a love of french fries. (Quick, someone create a buddy cop comedy where Diaz and Stone play mismatched partners who have to protect White, a famous fry chef.)
And Kanye West and Jennifer Lawrence both claim Doritos as a favorite snack (this could be an outstanding Super Bowl commercial).

Not surprisingly, pasta, pizza, and ice cream were big favorites with lots of different celebrities. But dishes like fried chicken have big fans like Reese Witherspoon, John Legend, and Beyonce, which is a dinner party I think we would all want to join, especially if Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, and Rafael Nadal are bringing cookies for dessert.
Some of the favorite dishes don't find any connections (only two celebs claim bacon as a favorite, really?), while other connections are sure to make for some interesting dinner table conversation. With cheese and chocolate as two favorite foods, is it any true surprise that the Dalai Lama is a calm and centered person?
