Burger King Will Trade a Free Whopper For a Pic of Your Ex on Valentine's Day

A ton of fast food chains and restaurants are celebrating love and Valentine's Day this month, but what about all the singletons out there? Burger King has your answer. Burger King, along with the new film Birds Of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), is teaming up to create Birds of Prey-themed "breakup boxes" in select cities, letting you trade in a photo of your ex for a free Burger King Whopper sandwich. Looks like this Valentine's Day you can get rid of some unwanted baggage and get a free whopper at the same time. Just like in the movie, where everyone's favorite anti-heroine Harley embarks on her post-breakup emancipation from The Joker, you too can throw away your ex and reap the benefits.

Bring in a Picture of Your Ex and Get a Free Burger King Whopper

The select Burger King locations can be found in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Boston, where guests can place photos of their ex in special "breakup boxes". In New York guests can even bring in letters, stuffed animals or a specified piece of clothing to claim their reward; a ¼ lb patty of savory, flame-grilled beef topped with juicy tomatoes, fresh lettuce, creamy mayonnaise, ketchup, crunchy pickles and sliced white onions on a soft sesame seed bun.

According to Burger King restaurants, the photos will be destroyed upon completion of the activation. Which means if you ever get back together, there's no getting that photo back.

Not near a breakup box? Burger King is launching an in-app quiz, giving participants a chance to get a $3 Whopper only via the BK® app. The quiz will feature five questions, and in order to be eligible for a Whopper, guests must answer four out of five correctly. As for what the questions are, we will just have to see!
