Burger King Brings Back Their Crispy Tacos
The last time the fast food company served up tacos was back in 2010 for a limited run. Since then, more than 600 people have joined together on Facebook asking BK to bring their tacos back. It looks like their wish finally came true.
"We've seen success with tacos in our west coast restaurants and knew it was time to bring this west coast favorite nationwide," Chris Finazzo, the North America President of Burger King Corporation, said in a press release. "The Crispy Taco adds variety to our snacking items and truly hits the spot."
The new menu item is the perfect snack to grab when you're not hungry enough to chow down on a Whopper with fries.
As for authenticity, these tacos were put to the test in their newest commercial shot in Austin, Texas. According to the testers, the tacos were crunchy and unbelievably priced, especially compared to Austin's cost of living standards. Taco-lovers can expect to pay a dollar for these Burger King tacos nationwide (prices higher in Alaska and Hawaii) when those late-night snacking pains hit.
