Bobby Flay's Award-Winning Pumpkin Swirl Bread

When autumn rolls around, it's time for pumpkin-flavored everything- from the Pumpkin Spice Latte to pumpkin cookies to roasted pumpkin seeds, no one can avoid the onslaught of delicious pumpkiny confections. Food Network's Bobby Flay has his own recipe for delectable pumpkin bread, which features chocolate, marmalade butter and all the warm flavors that go with fall-time desserts.

Bobby Flay is famous for his amazing cooking skills and mouthwatering recipes. Along with Chocolate-Pumpkin Swirl Bread, he makes an incredible Pumpkin Bread Pudding with Spicy Caramel Apple Sauce and Vanilla Bean Creme Anglaise.

Bobby Flay's Pumpkin Bread

Bobby Flay's pumpkin bread recipe is an indulgent, sweet upgrade from your classic chocolate chip pumpkin bread, and his marmalade butter brings the dessert to a new level of pumpkin deliciousness. The marmalade butter consists of room temperature unsalted butter, orange marmalade, orange zest and sea salt for the marmalade butter.

As for the bread dough of his Chocolate-Pumpkin Swirl Bread, this he makes with 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 tsp fine salt, 1 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 2 large eggs, 1 cup pumpkin puree, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 3 oz melted and cool semi-sweet chocolate.

Bobby Flay showed show to make this delicious sweet on Brunch @ Bobby, in which he prepared different brunch recipes. To make the swirl bread, he preheated the oven to 350 degrees F, combined his ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer at medium-high speed, and swirled the chocolate into the batter for a beautiful (and yummy) marbled effect.

All you need is a medium bowl, a stand mixer, a rubber spatula, and a 9-inch loaf pan. To determine when the swirl bread is ready, he used a toothpick inserted into the center of the baking dish. When ready, he cooled the bread on a wire rack, and served with a marmalade butter. Add a dollop of whipped cream for extra indulgence, and for even more fall flavor, drink a mug of apple cider with it!
