I could wax poetic about Blue Bell Ice Cream all day. In fact, I've done so many times. Whether it's ranking the best 20 flavors of Blue Bell or wondering why the heck they released Spiced Pumpkin Pecan in December, I've kept close tabs on Blue Bell. That being said, their new releases still get me just as excited as my very first taste of Homemade Vanilla (remember yours?), so I'm happy to share that you can now find Mocha Almond Fudge on shelves where Blue Bell is sold.
The coffee-based flavor also has me considering all of the ways I can own up to eating Blue Bell for breakfast. On holidays, I've been known to have a nice scoop with leftover pie in the morning (I know you have, too), so I can already think of the great uses for this coffee flavor.
Per Blue Bell, Mocha Almond Fudge is a coffee ice cream accented with chopped roasted almonds and a rich chocolate sundae sauce. I have to say that this is one of the few flavors of Blue Bell I haven't tried, so I'm excited to give it a spin.
I'm not condoning eating ice cream for breakfast, but I'm also not advising against it. Here at Wide Open Eats, we believe in the rule: everything in moderation, even moderation. That being said, here are a few ways you could turn ice cream flavor into something magical. Click the photo to go to the recipe!
1. Top your buttermilk pancakes with it for a decadent weekend breakfast.
2. Spin up a coffee milkshake that'll give you just the right jolt. Don't forget to add the whiskey!
3. Sandwich it between two cookies. Like so.
And there you have it! How else would you enjoy this?
