Blue Bell has done it again. The Texas ice cream maker has brought back a summer fan favorite all the way from 2011 and our spoons are ready. The new Southern Blackberry Cobbler Ice Cream is sure to take you back to a childhood filled with bare feet and berry-stained faces. Yeah that’s right, summer is here and so is the ultimate summer ice cream.
Naturally and artificially flavored, this super creamy ice cream begins with an ice cream based flavored with sweet blackberry flavor. Pieces of flaky pie crust pieces are swirled in alongside a luscious blackberry sauce swirl. Just try to resist licking the ice cream scoop with this one.
Like all Blue Bell ice creams, the product comes as a 1/2 gallon tub decorated with the same purple hue of the blackberry sauce. The ice cream tags along with two other new flavors, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Dough and Ice Cream Cone. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Dough boasts a milk chocolate ice cream base swirled with peanut butter cookie dough pieces and chunks of milk chocolate. And the Ice Cream Cone ice cream includes everything of a traditional ice cream cone minus the mess. Vanilla ice cream is mixed with chocolate-coated waffle cone pieces, chopped peanuts and finished with a rich chocolate sundae sauce swirl.
As well as the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Dough and Ice Cream Cone, there’s still time to grab a 1/2 gallon of some of your favorite limited-time flavors. Bride’s Cake, an almond ice cream swirled with white cake pieces and amaretto cream cheese icing is still available as well as it’s counterpart, Groom’s Cake, a chocolate ice cream with chocolate-coated strawberries, chocolate cake pieces, and a mixture of strawberry sauce and chocolate icing. And let’s not forget Cherry Vanilla, Butter Crunch, and Sea Salt Caramel that are still on the shelf.
