This Electric Shower Scrubber Has Scrubbed up Over 11,000 Positive Reviews

The World Wide Web used to have this cool bathroom product called the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner Starter Kit. The contraption was a dispenser that hung from your showerhead and used a power sprayer to emit cleaning products all over your bathtub like a bleach-filled rain shower. As you can imagine, the promises that came with this daily shower cleaner were, as a certain ex-President used to say, "Yuge."

Unfortunately, Scrubbing Bubbles discontinued the device. You can still find some remaining units on Amazon for way too much money. However, the promise of an easier way to clean your bathroom hasn't died with that ill-fated doohickey.

There are still tools out there that you can use (in combo with your favorite cleaning supplies) to remove tough stains and buildup from your bathroom. Sure, they might not have a dual sprayer, but they are an easier (and automatic) way to beat back bathtub messes. Check them out.

Best Automatic Shower Cleaners

Best Overall

1. Homitt Electric Spin Cordless Shower Built-in 2 Batteries 360 Power Bathroom Scrubber with 4 Replaceable Cleaning Brush Head and Adjustable Extension Handle for Tub, Tile, Floor, White

This Homitt cordless shower wand is an easy way to scrub out soap scum and mildew stains without having to stick your face in bleach or disinfecting foamer. I normally use a Magic Eraser and then end up coughing for days. The stainless steel handle is 21" long, so jam it in the grimiest corners of your bathroom and leave only a fresh scent behind.

This bathroom cleaner will work a lot harder than your elbow grease, but with even less effort. The 360-degree head spins at 300 RPMs (I've never seen a scrubbing bubble move that fast). With three different shapes of scrubber heads, you can finally take deep cleaning to every nook, corner, and cranny.

Best for Budget (Under $40)

2. MECO Electric Spin Scrubber, Power Scrubber Cordless High Rotation Handheld Bathroom Scrubber Rechargeable with 3 Replaceable Cleaning Brush Heads for Clean Shower, Tub, Tile, Floor, Sink, Wall, Window, Toilet Bowl

If you really want to get down into the mess, consider the MECO handheld Electric Spin Scrubber. The scouring head does such a good job that you might think there was a secret booster button behind all that power. Nope, this is just a great grime remover. Keep calcium out of your grout and off your fiberglass.

Speaking of glass, reviewer Gladis T. mentioned that they use this device to get a fresh clean on their glass shower doors. I don't know about you, but I am always a little hesitant about scrubbing glass too hard. Sounds like this device will clear up that issue for me.

Best for Showers (and Pots & Pans)

3. Holikme 20Piece Drill Brush Attachments Set, Scrub Pads & Sponge, Buffing Pads, Power Scrubber Brush with Extend Long Attachment, Car Polishing Pad Kit

My dad says that a good hand drill is a man's best friend. I don't think he ever pictured my Black+Decker drill becoming my favorite cleaning partner, though. With just the touch of a button (and the squirt of a spray bottle filled with choice cleaning solution), this Holikme Drill Brush set eliminates hard water stains with ease.

Imagine the pure cleaning power you'll have with the might of an electric drill behind the scrubbing. Want to teach your kids how to build a treehouse? Have them practice with power tools in the shower first. It's a win-win-win, as far as I can see. (That third win is for your partner-parent when they see that sparkling, shining sink.)
