What's better than a margarita for a buck? A strawberry margarita for a buck. That's right, Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar is bringing back the Dollarita for August, but they're giving it a sweet new flavor that fits right in with the warmer weather.
Each month, the restaurant chain offers a Neighborhood Drink, which is a limited time drink deal. Applebee's dollar margarita is one of their most popular drinks because everybody loves a tasty margarita for a dollar. Adding strawberry to the Dollarita is a new twist on the fan-favorite drink, but get it while you can, since it's only around for a month.

"It's crazy to think that our most popular drink could get any better, but with the addition of strawberry, our guests are going to love how good this Dollarita tastes," said Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee's, in a news release. "The Strawberry Dollarita is the perfect way to cool down on those hot August days and enjoy the final days of summer."
The Strawberry Dollarita is made with tequila, strawberry, and margarita mix, and served on the rocks.
In addition to Applebee's dollar margarita, other past monthly drink deals at Applebee's restaurants have included $2 Dos Equis, the $1 Bahama Mama (also known as the DollarMama), and the $3 Goose and Cranberry.
The drink special is available all day, every day while dining in at participating Applebee's locations. But you might check first with your neighborhood Applebee's, since price, participation, and availability may vary by location.
