Diane, 11:30 a.m., February Twenty-fourth. Entering the town of Twin Peaks." The town of Twin Peaks is coming to the live music capitol of the world. As Culture Collide reports, Showtime will operate the two-day Showtime House March 16 and 17 at Clive Bar (609 Davis St. in the Rainey Street area), treating badge-holders to a full-on Twin Peaks experience.
The event features two days music from artists inspired by David Lynch's mysterious masterpiece: Agnes Obel, Real Estate, M. Ward, Annie Hart (of Au Revoir Simone) and Neko Case have confirmed.
There will also be Twin Peaks cocktails, a photo booth and access to the Double R Diner pop-up shop where fans can enjoy free cherry pie and a damn fine cup of coffee from Austin's own Tiny Pies and High Brew Coffee.
Freaky fun Austin-via-Portland donut shop Voodoo Doughnut is getting in on the fun, creating a series of limited-edition Twin Peaks donuts, available only at the Double R Diner.
Of course, Twin Peaks returns to television with its highly anticipated two-part premiere Sunday, May 21.
