Whenever I’m eating at a restaurant near the beach or water, fish tacos catch my eye. Whether they’re deep frying the fish, grilling it, or pan frying it, fish tacos are the taste of summer. Usually topped with a cabbage slaw and crema, fish tacos are a healthy and refreshing meal.

Skip the deep fryer and grill the adobo-rubbed mahi-mahi or halibut filets. Make sure your grill is very hot and drizzled with olive oil to prevent the fish from sticking.

The toppings are simple: a jalapeño and cabbage slaw, fresh cilantro, and sour cream crema all tucked in a white corn tortilla. It doesn’t get better than this.
7. Grilled Shrimp Tacos with Avocado Salsa
To easily grill shrimp, first season them with olive oil, fresh lime juice, ground cumin, chili powder and garlic powder and thread them on wooden skewers. This prevents them from falling through the grill grates.
Place the grilled shrimp inside flour tortillas and top with the spicy homemade avocado salsa. I’d say a few batches of margaritas would go perfectly with these fish tacos.
