Atlanta is known for its quality restaurants, from down-home soul food to out-of-the-box fusion eateries. This Southern city is a hub of delectable spots to eat, so when Guy Fieri took multiple trips to Atlanta on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, it's no surprise that he found an abundance of delicious food. Although Atlanta is best known for its BBQ and soul food, there's no shortage of chefs and restaurant owners bringing their expertise and talent to the city in many different ways, and we trust Guy Fieri to discover them.

Throughout his show, Fieri has returned time and time again to Atlanta to discover more of the city's little-known restaurants full of comforting soul food and mouthwatering dishes. This list features classic Southern food, twists on well-loved dishes, a famously delicious Jewish deli, and more, because there's something for everyone in the capital of the peach state! Here are 10 Atlanta restaurants featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives that are well worth a visit.

You can't beat the Tater Tots, Nachos or Wings as appetizers, and entrees like the Highlander Burger, Blackened Chicken Etouffee and Beef Stroganoff are as flavorful and comforting as it gets. Plus, the live music and events like drunk bingo and trivia make the experience as fun as it is delectable.

The eatery's main claim to fame is Southern Fried Chicken, but its customers also come for its welcoming, family atmosphere. Open for almost a century, The Colonnade is an Atlanta institution that brings southern hospitality to the city. When Fieri visited, his main goal was to try the Kangaroo Tenderloin, which didn't disappoint. Upon trying it, he said that the dish tasted like sirloin and had super tasty sauce.
