Get ready to do your happy dance because the fizzy, clear flavored sparkling water you loved in the 90s is making a comeback. The iconic flavored water that brought smiles to faces, Clearly Canadian, has finally returned. Here one minute, gone the next, this nostalgic resurgence is the best news we’ve heard since the invention of marshmallow-only Lucky Charms boxes.
For those of you too young to remember, Clearly Canadian was the La Croix of its time. It had a refreshing flavor that had just the right amount of fruitiness. Not too sweet, and full of fizz, you couldn’t pass by a clear bottle without plucking it off the store shelf.
To get Clearly Canadian back on shelves, new venture capitalist Robert A. Kahn put a crowdfunding campaign into motion. The company was set to release the beverage once it reached its goal of selling 25,000 pre-ordered pallets.
While the company reached this goal back in 2015, they faced shipping order issues due to the shutdown of a Vancouver plant. With the snafu figured out, pre-orders are being filled and the iconic glass bottles have begun to hit store shelves.
Cleary Canadian sparkling water will make it’s comeback in four classic flavors: Mountain Blackberry, Wild Cherry, Orchard Peach, and Country Raspberry. It is currently available for sale in the United States at select Cost Plus World Market and Hy-Vee locations.
Head on over and buy what you can because something tells me those bottles are going to fly off the shelf. If you’re worried about the bottles disappearing before you get your fill, you could always fork out the big bucks and order your own pallet.
