Watch the First Teaser Trailer of ‘Barbecue’, Featuring Iconic Texas Barbecue Joints

Matthew Salleh and Rose Tucker set out to create a documentary about barbecue around the world. What they found in the process is that barbecue is the international synonym for community. Are you ready to feel some serious barbecue pride? Get excited because the first teaser trailer of Barbecue is here.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy barbecue without the meat sweats this time.

The documentary, which will premiere during Austin’s SXSW 2017 Film Festival, zeroes in on barbecue and the community surrounding it in 12 countries across the globe. No, y’all, Texas isn’t its own country.

Armenia, Australia, Japan, the Syria/Jordan border, Mexico, Mongolia, New Zealand, Philippines, South Africa, Sweden, the U.S. (Texas), and Uruguay are all featured. The filmmakers, Matthew Salleh and Rose Tucker, traveled together with minimal disruption in order to capture the real heart of barbecue across the world.
