Country superstar Trisha Yearwood may soon add another accolade to her mantle: Emmy Award-winning TV personality. Yearwood’s Food Network series “Trisha’s Southern Kitchen” is nominated in the Outstanding Culinary Program category. The show features recipes and instructions along with occasional guests, including several appearances from Yearwood’s husband, Garth Brooks.
“Trisha’s Southern Kitchen” is in the running against “America’s Test Kitchen,” “Barefoot Contessa: Back to Basics,” “Eat the World with Emeril Lagasse,” “Guy’s Big Bite” and “The Mind of a Chef.”
