It’s a big year for Girl Scout Cookie lovers. This year, the Girl Scouts of the United States of America are celebrating the 100th anniversary of its iconic cookies, and National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend — Feb. 24 to 26 — is right around the corner.
In honor of this century of confections, Influenster conducted a poll of its more than 5,000 members to discover the favorite Girl Scout cookie in each of the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
Somewhat unsurprisingly, Thin Mints were both the overall favorite, scoring the highest number of votes, and the top choice in the most states.
A close second place went to Caramel deLites (Samoas) in overall votes, third place went to Peanut Butter Patties (Tagalongs) and a distant fourth place went to Peanut Butter Sandwiches (Do-si-dos).
If that’s still not enough to sate your cookie fix, General Mills recently released its Thin Mints and Caramel deLites breakfast cereals.
