Texas Man Finds Gold Bud Light Can So Early, He Didn’t Even Know It

Marcus Brice, a father of four, grabbed a 24-pack of Bud Light on his way home from Christmas shopping for his children in Austin, Texas. According to KENS5, he was just stacking his cans in the refrigerator when he saw the Bud Light “Strike Gold” commercial during a break in the game.

As he told KENS5, he said of realizing what he had: “It was a commercial about the golden can. I’m like ‘That’s the golden can!’ I saw the same thing when I put my beers away.” He went to check his refrigerator just to be sure his mind wasn’t playing tricks on him when he realized that yes, he did indeed have a gold Bud Light can.

The gold can found is one of only 37 and said he will be entering himself every single week in the competition for lifetime Super Bowl tickets for the next six weeks.

Each week, one winner will receive season tickets to their favorite time, and the final prize, the Grand Prize, will see the winner gain tickets to the next 51 Super Bowls.

Brice ended his interview on a touching and positive note, saying, “It’s honestly like the Willy Wonka thing you find the Golden can. I just see a chance to actually give more right now. I do. I hope it happens.”

There are still 36 cans out there to be found to enter the giveaway – or, maybe even less!
