Taco Bell's New Dollar Menu Will Feature 20 Limited Time Menu Items

Fast-food giant Taco Bell is updating its dollar menu, doubling its menu size from 20 items to 40 items. These dollar menu items will be available for a limited time, so you better act fast when the menu is dropped. Although we do not know all of the new menu items planned for 2018, Taco Bell has released their first menu item just in time to tease our dollar cravings for the holidays.

Taco Bell announced their Dollar Menu shortly following the announcement of McDonald's value menu back in 2014. Now McDonald's is revamping the menu as the, "$1-$2-$3 Dollar Menu", an announcement made fairly close to when Taco Bell announced it's new menu. It seems like these fast-food chains are in a bit of a dollar menu fight.

The current Taco Bell dollar menu features cheap eats such as triple layer nachos topped with nacho cheese, a spicy tostada, a spicy potato soft taco, a beefy mini quesadilla filled with seasoned beef, and a shredded chicken mini quesadilla. The dessert options include Cinnabon delights, a caramel apple empanada, and a bag of cinnamon twists.

The new dollar menu items are said to be released throughout the year for a limited time. The first new menu item, the $1 Stacker is going to be available to Taco Bell lovers on December 21st.

Filled with a melted shredded-cheese blend along with nacho cheese and seasoned beef, this new dollar menu item is similar to a quesadilla where it is folded over itself three times and pressed.

You can order the new $1 Stacker by itself or as a part of your $5 box complete with a Doritos Locos Taco, a crunchy taco, chips and nacho cheese, and a medium fountain drink.
