They’re already available (and loved) outside the U.S., but Taco Bell has finally brought its seasoned french fries stateside, and they can be yours. That is, if you’re in the chain’s headquarters city of Irvine, California, Business Insider reported. The fries are available on their own or “loaded”: topped with ground beef, tomato, nacho cheese, sour cream and, for a bit more coin, bacon, guac and jalapeños.
If you’re a world traveler, you may have already tried them – they’re available in Japan (with cheddar and nacho cheese, beef, sour cream and scallions), Canada (in three styles, supreme, cheesy and chili cheese), Guatemala, which has an entire “papas” menu, and throughout Latin America.
@tacobell has fries?! ?? Loaded Seasoned Fries Bellgrande, Crispy Chicken Chips, Double Stacked Tacos and Freezes‼️???❄️ @andythenguyen told me and @scottafters that these fries were available exclusively at the Irvine UCI location for testing, so naturally we had to make it a @tryitordiet #TacoTuesday and try it for ourselves ? If that’s not enough to get you salivating, the price just might – the fries alone are 50 cents, and Bell Grande fries will run you just $2.
But wait, there’s more: the same Irvine location is also serving Volcano Crispy Chicken Chips, the brand’s spin on chicken nuggets.
