It’s been a tough week for fast-food chicken. First, Taco Bell announced the end of its Naked Chicken Chalupa, the chalupa with the fried chicken “shell”; then a team of Canadian researchers discovered several chains’ chicken isn’t all chicken.
Now, in a chicken coup de grace, Wendy’s has confirmed it has nationally discontinued its Spicy Chicken Nuggets. However, a select few may still be able to enjoy them; as Brand Eating reports, they “can still be found in ‘select cities across the country.’”
That consolation, however, is no consolation to many people. Here are a few select responses from across the internet.
@Wendys Your organization has the AUDACITY to take the spicy nuggets from WE THE PEOPLE! Spicy nuggets IS what MAKES Wendy's GREAT! Sad!
