Can you get enough of Ree Drummond? We can’t, whether it’s writing rave reviews about her cookware series at Walmart, or the opening of The Mercantile in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. So you can imagine how excited we were when we found out that Hearst recently signed a deal with the Pioneer Woman to launch her very own magazine that’ll appear in June 2017.
There will be two issues at first and both will be edited by current Food Network Magazine’s Editor in Chief Maile Carpenter. The magazine will be based on her popular blog, where it all began in 2006. The idea will be similar for the print edition – it will “showcase Drummond’s ‘accessible style for cooking, meal planning, and casual entertaining.'”
The magazine will also feature fashion and culture stories that have the same Pioneer Woman touch as Ree’s blog does. Knowing Drummond, it will have the charm of her blog and will be a delightful little read.
We can’t wait to get our hands on the first copy this summer!
