- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 4-5 strawberries, chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
In a food processor combine the butter, honey, strawberries and salt until combined. You want the strawberries still a bit chunky, so make sure your butter doesn't turn completely pink.
Place the mixture on a sheet of parchment or wax paper and roll into a 1-inch thick long. Chill 1 hour. Slice into rounds and serve on bagels or toast.
You can also used thawed frozen strawberries for this recipe.
This spread is great for brunch.
