Prep Time: 1 hour | Cook Time:
- 2 2/3 cups tequila
- 2 2/3 cups grapefruit juice
- 1 cup lime juice
- 1 cup water
- 5 tbs agave nectar (Or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 10 oz Sparkling water (More or less, to top off individual servings)
In a large pitcher, stir together the grapefruit juice, lime juice, water, and agave. Chill for 1 hour.
Stir in the tequila and salt.
To serve, fill a glass 3/4 full with ice, pour in enough drink base to reach that same 3/4 full mark, then top with of sparkling water. Garnish with grapefruit or lime wedges. Enjoy!
Traditionally, this cocktail is made with grapefruit soda. But we find for big batches, it's more refreshing and flavorful to use actual fruit juice.
