The sky is blue. Grass is green. Dogs are better than cats. People love Oreos. These are the unwavering truths of our planet. That last fact is so true, in fact, that the Oreo has become America’s favorite cookie. Period. (Try to forget about the recent Oreo Fudge Creme recall though. OK?)
According to The Kitchn, “Oreo outsells the next highest-grossing cookie threefold.” They also beat the living chocolate chips out of Cheerios and Kraft’s macaroni and cheese. With that being said, it’s no surprise that every time any new Oreo-themed snack is released people lose their marbled chocolate in response. The latest cause for social unrest is Oreo’s new chocolate candy bars.
The filling of the bars, if you will, is comprised mostly of the home team favorite: Oreos. A visiting team contributes the outer chocolate layer. European-based chocolate brand Milka makes it. Here are the details as told by Food Manufacturing:

The Milka OREO Chocolate Candy Bar: Delicious bits of OREO cookie mixed in rich vanilla creme filling coated in European Milka chocolate candy. It will be available in three sizes: 1.44 oz. at an SRP of $0.98, 2.88 oz.at an SRP of $1.69 and 3.52 oz. at an SRP of $1.79.
The Milka OREO Choco-Mix Snack Mix Bag: OREO mini chocolate sandwich cookies, Golden OREO mini sandwich cookies, Milka Chocolate Candy Buttons, and candy coated chocolate pieces mixed together for a delicious multi-texture experience. It is available in a 6.1 oz. bag at an SRP of $3.69.
All three of these highly anticipated candy snacks will hit shelves nationwide in January of 2017.
