Coloradans are jumping for joy this week because the California-based burger chain In-n-Out has finally announced that it will be serving up its famous double-double burger and animal fries 45 minutes south of Denver. First opened in 1948, In-N-Out Burger has grown from a small fast food joint to a West Coast restaurant empire with a cult-like following. With stores only in California, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Texas, it was inevitable that Colorado would get its own location.
Unlike most fast food restaurants, In-n-Out Burgers is known for providing fresh, never frozen, burgers and fries. With that being said, In-n-Out uses their own distribution centers to run their product to the nearby restaurants.
Recently, Westside Investment Partners is under contract to purchase land in the Victory Ridge mixed-use development to use as their location for Colorado's first In-n-Out Burgers. A distribution facility, office building and production facility is also in the works.
There are no plans for more than one restaurant at this time, but once a distribution facility is in place, we're sure they'll start popping up.
