McDonald’s Will Sell Bottled Big Mac Sauce in Only This Country

McDonald’s will begin selling bottles of its prized Big Mac sauce, but most readers will have to make quite a trek to get it — it will only be offered in Canada. According to Fortune, supermarkets throughout Canada will stock their shelves with the chain’s signature Big Mac, McChicken and Filet-O-Fish sauces beginning this spring.

McDonald’s Canada spokesman Adam Grachnik provided this statement:

It’s no secret that Canadians love our Big Mac Sauce. Get ready Canada! We’re taking it one step further. This spring our Big Mac, Filet-O-Fish and McChicken sauces will be landing on grocery shelves from coast-to-coast. With this launch, Canadians will now be able to experience the world famous sauces they love at home. This is part of our continued commitment to giving Canadians more ways to enjoy McDonald’s. We look forward to sharing more details soon.

In January, McDonald’s gave away 10,000 free bottles of Big Mac sauce in stores around the U.S., on a first-come, first-served basis. All 10,000 were snatched up post haste, quickly making their way online for auction at some exorbitant prices.

Bottles are currently available on eBay, priced from around $20 to a whopping $25,000. For McDonald’s lovers eager to make their favorite sandwiches at home, a trip to Canada might be cheaper.
