Keurig and Anheuser-Busch Want to Help You Brew in Your Home

How’s this for diversification: Anheuser-Busch and Keurig are coming together to create a home brewing and cocktail system. As CNN reported, the companies announced the joint venture Friday, Jan. 6.

According to a press release, the machine will be able to pump out “beer, spirits, cocktails or mixers” from the comfort of your own home. The concept borrows from Keurig’s KOLD machines, albeit a dud as they stopped selling the machine six months ago. However, the technology is there.

This dream machine is a long way off – the companies are still in the research stage, no prototype has been created and no further details have emerged about how the thing would actually work – but the partnership means the machine could be cranking out ice-cold, home-brew versions of a few of AB’s favorite brews within a few years.
