Jack in the Box, Seller of Deep Fried Tacos, to Start Delivery Service

Jack in the Box is the latest fast-food chain to step up its ordering options this year, and began offering delivery services at more than 800 franchises around the U.S., Fortune reports. Jack in the Box’s delivery service comes via a partnership with DoorDash food delivery service, and is now available in more than 200 cities.

Jack has already tested its delivery option in San Francisco and, following the success of the program, will extend the service across 14 new markets, among them Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Houston, Denver, Dallas/Fort Worth, Phoenix and Seattle, with more to come.

“Jack in the Box has epitomized variety and choice for guests throughout its existence,” Iwona Alter, Jack in the Box chief marketing officer, said in a press release. “Our expanded partnership with DoorDash now offers guests the choice — come join us in-restaurant or get your cravings delivered to your door. Anytime you crave it, we’ll serve it.”

“After months piloting with Jack in the Box in San Francisco, we’ve made delivery from their restaurants even faster, easier and simpler, and we are excited to be taking this partnership to the next level,” DoorDash Head of Business Development Prahar Shah, said in the release.
