IHOP loves two things: pancakes and a party. Especially one that celebrates with pancakes. For the change of seasons, they are celebrating with a brand new Spring Fling Pancake menu that will have you licking your maple-glazed fingers at the table. As if you didn’t already do just that at IHOP. The Spring Fling Pancakes from IHOP represent the best of the season’s fresh fruit: blackberries, strawberries, and sweet peaches.
The Blackberry Cheesecake is made of crisp blackberries with cheesecake cream on top of buttermilk pancakes.
The Strawberry & Cream sees a vanilla bean mousse between buttermilk pancakes with a glazed strawberry finish on top.
The Sweet Peach Praline is a mix of peaches and candied pecans in a buttery brown sugar glaze. Whipped topping accompanies the Sweet Peach Praline and the Strawberry & Cream.
All three of the menu additions feature IHOP’s famous buttermilk pancakes as a base, but most locations are happy to swap out buttermilk for wheat or another of your favorite cakes.
Also, you can get the Spring Fling Pancakes as a full stack of pancakes or as part of a combo meal with the choice of eggs, bacon, sausage or ham, and more.
Chef Nevielle Panthaky, Vice President, Culinary at IHOP, said
“In creating the latest dishes for our new spring menu, we were inspired by the feeling that comes from throwing open the windows for the first time after winter and breathing in fresh, crisp air. The ingredients used in our Spring Fling Pancake recipes – juicy fruits bursting with sweetness, vanilla bean, real cream and buttered pecans – dance on your tongue and create this really beautiful combination of tastes and textures when paired with IHOP’s signature buttermilk pancakes.
“This menu trio perfectly showcases our pancake expertise and helps launch our new 2017 menu, which features foods and beverages made with bold flavors, seasonally-inspired ingredients and classic touches sure to please guests of all ages.”
IHOP has been servings 65 different signature, fresh, made-to-order breakfast options for almost 60 years, so there is something for everyone. Especially if you like breakfast for dinner – they serve pancakes 24/7 in some locations.
