Ditch those expensive backdrops and brick walls for your next photo shoot. H-E-B grocery stores, a Texas institution, has been on the forefront of recent photos as the perfect backdrop. Recently a Texas Mom took over the ice cream aisle at her local Montgomery H-E-B for a maternity shoot. Today, Thomas is posing down the aisles to celebrate his 5th birthday. We are here for all these amazing photos at our favorite grocery store.
With the help of Pop of Color Images and the Kitty Hawk and 1604 HEB location, Thomas' birthday party was filled with smiles, toy shopping and even a visit from H-E-Buddy to share his special day.
Megan Bowling, the photographer behind the adorable photos, worked with Thomas' mom, Jessica Guerrero to get the perfect photos to celebrate Thomas' special H-E-B birthday. According to the San Antion Express-News Bowling expressed that the store went, "above and beyond" to make Thomas feel on top of the world. The store provided Thomas with a nametag, a small shopping cart to pick up essentials, and shared blue donuts. The store also sent over H-E-B themed goodie bags, balloons and desserts home with him to share with family and friends.
Thomas isn't the only birthday boy to celebrate in an H-E-B store. Back in March Jacob Cinco-Reyes threw his birthday party in the aisles of his local Pearland location. Jacob's mom, Amanda Cinco, originally called the store asking for a few party decorations to turn her house into an H-E-B. However, the San Antonio grocery store chain had a better idea and invited the entire party to the store. The store set up a fun scavenger hunt, played a fruit bingo game and enjoyed frozen banana snacks.
Perhaps H-E-B is onto something here with their newest "event planning" business.
