One chip shop in Belfast, Ireland, has become something of an online sensation after its owners posted a very peculiar delivery order request. On Dec. 30, Feeley’s Fish and Chip Shop received an order for delivery.
In the “add comments” section — usually reserved for preparation or delivery instructions — the customer had written this:
“Will you please stop in Spar on the way and get my Benylin cold and flu tablets and Ill give you the money, only ordering food so I can get the tablets Im dying sick xx”
That’s right — the poor lass was so sick, she needed a delivery driver to pick up his meds. Feeley’s posted the ticket along with a note: “Good to see my customers making use of the “add comments” section!!!!! Words absolutely fail me ????”
A few hours later, Feeley’s posted another photo:
This time, the note reads: “Only the best service here at Feeleys ??? p.s. get well soon”
By the next day, the story had gotten some local press; within two days, the story had gone viral. We salute you from across the pond, Feeley’s, for your unprecedented customer service.
