The cold weather is a sign that it is definitely a good time to break out your slow cooker. My slow cooker is one of my favorite and most used kitchen appliances. I highly recommend investing in one, or maybe asking for one like this for Christmas this year! It's a very versatile appliance and can really prepare anything with the countless slow cooker recipes out there: soups, chili, vegetables, roasts, even dessert! The spice bag floats in a slow cooker filled with apple cider, cranberry juice and brown sugar.
